We have been in cement industry for the past 20 years, and as a dealer, we have completed 10 years. We cater to the markets in Pune district and we have cement brands of UltraTech, Orient, Coromandel, Vasavadatta, JK, and CCI. In the total sales, about 70 per cent sale is in the retail segment and 30 per cent goes to projects. In a month our sales is about 600-700 tonne on an average. The sale is a bit less compared to previous years due to saturation period. In this new year, we expect a good future as new governments are at the Centre and in the state of Maharashtra. The government is planning the development of the country in the right way which is good for cement industry and infrastructure development in the country. Before LBT, the rate of cement in the rural area was different from city areas, which makes a difference of Rs 10-20 per bag. And now after the authorities upgraded octroi to LBT, the transport system is very fast and the material handling is also very easy. And the material is distributed at the same rate in the rural and urban areas. GST will definitely make the difference as it will benefit the complete value chain of the company, trader, transporter and the end-user.
