We have been dealing in the Delhi and NCR region for the last 25 year. We are Sales Promoters for Shree Cement and C&F agents for Birla, Uttam, Mangalam, Birla White, UltraTech, etc. Having more brands in the bag helps as we never have to disappoint a customer due to shortage of any one particular brand. It gives more options to customers too.
From last one and half years, the profit margins have dropped down drastically. That is because the demand for cement has plummeted. As a result cement companies have pumped up the cement prices. In last 20-25 days the prices were hiked by Rs 35 in three steps. Customers have no option but to buy the high priced cement. Dealers however, get no benefit from the price hikes. As dealers we must fight with cement companies for profit.
