The Confederation of Construction Products and Services is a non-profit organisation which is dedicated to the sustainable growth of construction products sector by working collectively with its members and others to improve quality and efficiency in construction. Besides providing a common platform for construction product sector to share and resolve issues of common concern, the CCPS also facilitates interaction and exchange between the product sector and the government, the construction professionals and the consumer, bringing together the entire construction chain.
The Association was established on 28th Sept, 2001. The Objectives of the Association are to further the knowledge and awareness in the field of Engineering. To create a sprit of brotherhood and co-operation amongst the members of the association. To develop leadership and initiative and to inculcate a sence of responsibility amongst the member of the Association. Cement Manufacturers Association (CMA), the apex representative body of large cement manufacturers in India was established in 1961. It is a unique body in as much as it has both the private and public sector cement companies as its members. It is a registered body under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. Its registered office is in New Delhi, while the Corporate Office in Noida with Branch offices in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) is an apex body dedicated to research, technology development and transfer, testing, education and industrial services for the cement and building materials industries. NCB is the largest Industrial Support Organisation of its kind in India, in the field of cement, building materials and allied areas. The entire range of services of NCB are delivered by six corporate centres through its units in Ballabhgarh, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. The main laboratories of the council are located at Ballabhgarh, 34 kms south of New Delhi.
The Association of Engineers, the first as well the oldest professional body for Engineers and Technologists in India, was founded by a group of committed engineers in the year 1919 i.e. during the British Raj, to strengthen professional fraternity among Indian engineers and to foster sustained professional ethics among them. From its inception they have been promoting various knowledge upgrading and skill developing programmes for engineers and technically qualified tradepersons from weaker section of the society. They are engaged in imparting job specific training to personnel in various discipline of engineering and trades.
