Amreyah Cement to use coal mills

Amreyah Cement Co is planning to use coal to power its clinker lines, for which it has signed a contract with Christian Pfeiffer to construct two new coal mills at its facility. It will be a turnkey project, for which Christian Pfeiffer Beckum (CPB) will be responsible for organising construction work, engineering and delivering equipment in Egypt.

CPB´s delivery includes two identical horizontal ball mills with a 3.4 m dia and an effective grinding length of 6.75 m and a 3 m integrated drying chamber, each equipped with a high-efficiency DSL-K 65-type separator. The ball mills are rated for outputs of 35 tph of coal each.

The company will deliver all raw material handling equipment, the finished product silos, the dosing and conveyor units and the new burners for the existing clinker lines, the electrical systems, safety equipment and the steel and solid structures.
