Ardex Endura Inaugurates New Plant

The new Ardex Endura plant can manufacture an entire range of construction chemical products catering to diverse customer sectors like construction, industrial sector, infrastructure, repair and renovation, and the decorative sector.

Ardex Endura India (AEIPL), a brand and technology leader in the tiling adhesive market in India announced the inauguration of its state-of-the-art plant at Nelamangala, in Bengaluru. Ardex has a major focus on its expansion in India, and is to set up one more plant at Durgapur, West Bengal, in 2014. The new powder plant has a capacity of over 180,000 tonnes per annum and also has a liquids plant capable of manufacturing most of the waterproofing and industrial flooring requirements in the Indian market. The gross investment in the new facility is 5 million euros.

Gopinath Krishnan, Managing Director, Ardex Endura India, said,´The plant combines large- scale production capability of up to 60 tonnes per hour at highly consistent quality levels. This enables the plant to cater to project customers with a speed that can drastically cut the lead time to service. The core imported machinery ensures exceptional product quality with unmatched consistency, that is the hallmark of Ardex worldwide, and houses sophisticated high speed German designed packing lines for moisture- free packs of small and large sizes. The new plant can manufacture an entire range of construction chemical products catering to diverse customer sectors like construction, industrial sector, infrastructure, repair and renovation, and the decorative sector. Furthermore, the new plant will provide a single point of contact for client requirements and is strategically situated in one of the fastest growing regions in the country in terms of use of construction chemicals.´
