Reliance Infrastructure aims for 5th spot
In its 82nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) held recently, Anil Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Infrastructure said that the company aims to become amongst top 5 cement producers in India. It is setting up 2 cement plants, with a capacity of 5 million tonnes each in Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh. The land has been acquired for cement projects, while the mining lease is in place. The major plant and machineries are also ordered and civil construction has already commenced.
