Binani Cement delisted from bourses

Binani Industries (BIL) has announced that its cement making arm Binani Cement has been delisted from the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange with effect from May 30. "Binani Industries has informed to equity shareholders of Binani Cement that it will be delisted with effect from May 30 from the BSE and NSE," BIL said in a communique to the stock exchanges. BIL had in January launched an open offer to acquire 30.1 per cent stake in Binani Cement. At present, BIL has 95.01 per cent stake in Binani Cement. BIL has also tendered an exit opportunity to Binani Cement's residual shareholders. Binani Cement is going all out to promote its brand with a mega outdoor campaign to drive brand salience, create an impact and convey the brand message to its target audience. The outdoor campaign of Binani Cement highlights the core USP of the product, ie, strength, quality, durability, performance and consistency.
