Cement packing plants to be built by Semen Tonasa
Cement packing plants are planned to be built in all provinces of eastern Indonesia by Semen Tonasa, a Semen Gresik subsidiary.
The project will be carried by the company in phases for which it will need to incur an expenditure of around IDR 100 billion. The company is in plans to build at least two packing plants a year till a packing plant is present in each province in the eastern region. The construction of these facilities will be commenced this year in Papua and Balikpapan of East Kalimantan. Tonasa's president, Sattar Taba, said the company will build at least two packing plants a year until each province in the eastern region has a packing plant. This year, it will start with the construction of such facilities in Papua and Balikpapan of East Kalimantan, he said.
